Stranda Descender Fjäderlätt 2026

The Stranda Descender Fjäderlätt is an ultra-lightweight splitboard built for big-mountain touring, where every gram matters without compromising downhill performance. Its stiff, powerful construction is designed to charge demanding lines at speed while remaining capable in deep snow and technical terrain.

With a directional freeride shape, tapered nose and setback stance, the board naturally rises in powder and reduces fatigue on long descents. A touch of tail provides enough support for switch landings, while the hybrid camber-and-rocker profile balances edge hold on hardpack with smooth float in soft snow.

The board combines a Paulownia, ash and aluminium core with a triax carbon weave for strength, torsional stiffness and pop. Flax dampers help reduce vibration, while the sintered graphite base delivers fast glide, durability and straightforward repairability. Pre-cut Fjäderlätt climbing skins are included, complete with hardware and a mohair-nylon construction.
