The Kästle TX107 is a wide touring ski that pairs efficient backcountry climbing with big-mountain downhill performance. At its heart is an Ultralight Twin Core of paulownia and poplar, wrapped in carbon and fibreglass to keep the ski light on the ascent while adding torsional rigidity for powerful, composed turns. HOLLOWTECH Evo reduces swing weight and smooths the tip flex, while the Armoclad Sidewall protects the construction and delivers direct power transmission.
When the terrain steepens and the snow deepens, the Directional Touring Rocker and low camber work together to provide float, manoeuvrability and balanced edge grip. The Hook Free tip and tail release cleanly from turns, and the 107 mm waist glides confidently through powder, open bowls and changing backcountry conditions. It remains steady at speed and predictable on demanding lines, making it a versatile choice for long tours with serious descent potential.
The TX107 is built around a directional, freeride-oriented touring shape that prioritises flotation and stability in deep snow while still climbing efficiently.
