Gear Aid Seam Grip SIL

Gear Aid Seam Grip SIL is a clear silicone-rubber sealant made for waterproofing seams on silicone-treated fabrics. Formerly known as SilNet, it bonds securely to silnylon tents, tarps and ultralight backpacks, creating a flexible seal that helps keep moisture out.

The weather-resistant formula cures into an elastic rubber that flexes with technical gear without peeling or cracking. It is also useful for repairing pinholes and small tears, making it well suited to campers, backpackers and anyone maintaining lightweight shelter equipment.
