The Ortovox Avabag Unit is a compact avalanche-airbag system component designed to fit compatible ORTOVOX AVABAG backpacks. Its activation unit sits inside the Venturi system, creating a closed, robust design that operates without electricity and helps exclude dirt, ice and corrosion.

The lightweight unit uses innovative welding technology to support a small pack size while improving resistance to tearing and leaks. Its practice function allows repeated release training without an installed cartridge, helping users prepare to react appropriately in an avalanche emergency.
