The Atomic Backland Carbon is a lightweight ski-touring boot built for demanding mountain objectives, combining a carbon-loaded shell with a carbon-fiber cuff for confident downhill control. Its low weight and 98 mm last support efficient movement on long ascents and precise handling on steep descents.

A Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 system provide a 74° range of motion in walk mode, while the Cross Lace 2.0 system distributes pressure evenly across the instep. The thermoformable liner and integrated Low Tech inserts make it especially well suited to intermediate to expert skiers tackling technical touring routes and couloir descents.
