Arva ACCESS 240

The ARVA ACCESS 240 is a robust avalanche probe designed for reliable companion rescue in alpine terrain. Its 2.40 m working length is divided into six 40 cm sections of durable 7075 aluminium, providing a stable feel and quick penetration through snow when every second counts. The conical segment ends and the ergonomic locking handle allow rapid assembly, even under stress.

Deployment is equally straightforward: pull the ultra-light Aramid cord to tension the probe, then engage the Flask-Lock system to secure the internal bungee. Precise depth markings along the shaft let you read burial depth immediately, aiding organised probing and efficient shoveling. The compact and lightweight construction makes it an unobtrusive but essential part of any backcountry kit.
