The Ortovox Alu 240 is an entry-level avalanche probe designed for fast, dependable deployment in rescue situations. Its Quick-Lock tensioning system and adjustable tension screw make it quick to assemble and easy to release, while the voluminous probe tip improves penetration in compact snow. Clear depth markings, a prominent 1 m marking and a visual orange guide segment support an efficient shovelling strategy.
