Oakley MOD5

The Oakley MOD5 MIPS is a completely redesigned snow helmet, shaped with input from Oakley athletes to bring together a secure, customizable fit and dependable protection. Its hybrid Dura-Matter construction—a molded Dura-Matter outer shell bonded to an EPS foam liner—delivers notable dent resistance and long-lasting durability while keeping weight in check. A magnetic Fidlock buckle makes fastening and releasing easy even with gloves on.

Under the shell, the Skull Matrix system pairs MIPS rotational-impact protection with a Boa fit dial, letting you fine-tune the fit for all-day comfort. Adjustable top vents and front goggle vents help manage airflow and keep lenses clear, while the fully removable liner and ear pads can be washed and swapped to suit changing weather. The goggle strap can also route under the helmet for a clean, secure setup.

Whether you’re lapping groomers or exploring off-piste terrain, the MOD5 MIPS is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 and includes a storage sleeve for easy transport. It’s a versatile alpine companion built to perform across the mountain.
