The Mountain Equipment Makalu is a highly protective GORE-TEX hardshell jacket for hiking, mountaineering and ski touring. Its durable 3-layer, 75D construction combines waterproof protection, wind resistance and reduced environmental impact through an ePE membrane, PFC-free DWR treatment and bluesign-certified materials.

A fully adjustable hood, two-way front zip and underarm vents help maintain comfort in changing mountain conditions. The Alpine fit, articulated sleeves and adjustable cuffs and hem provide dependable freedom of movement and weather protection for year-round use in demanding alpine environments.
