Salewa Lightning Carbon 240 Plus

The Salewa Lightning Carbon 240 Plus is a professional carbon-fibre avalanche probe for ski touring and freeriding, designed for situations where every gram matters. Its oversized 13 mm carbon segments provide excellent stiffness while keeping the probe lightweight and compact for transport.

The automatic locking system, steel cable and pull handle enable rapid assembly in an emergency. A drop-shaped tip improves snow penetration, and the 5 cm markings make burial-depth assessment clear and precise. The included extra segment extends the probe from 240 cm to 280 cm, providing additional reach when needed.
