Nidecker The Smoke 2026

The Smoke is a mid-length, surf-inspired carver from Nidecker’s Snow Surf Quiver, designed to shine across a wide variety of mountain terrain. Its Nidactive construction shapes the wood core and sidewall like a surfboard rail, allowing maximum pressure to be applied to the edges for precise, responsive turn initiation. The Light Core blends paulownia, poplar and beech stringers for a low-swing-weight feel with plenty of pop and durability, while the N-9000 race-grade base delivers fast, long-lasting glide.

Out on the hill, the Smoke feels just as at home slashing powder banks as it does laying into groomed piste turns. The Surfy Camrock profile combines camber underfoot with rocker outside the front binding, and the heavily setback stance keeps volume in the nose for float in deep snow and control through the exit of each turn. With a tapered outline, it’s a versatile, lively ride for bowls, chutes and everything in between.
