We may process account data such as your name, email, username and profile image; technical session data including IP address and browser information; published posts, comments and images; Guide conversations; and messages sent to support.
Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to operate accounts and provide requested features under our agreement, to protect the service and prevent abuse in our legitimate interests, and to meet legal obligations where they apply.
Guide and maps
Messages sent to Guide are processed by external AI services and saved in conversation history. When you view a map, its provider may receive technical connection data such as your IP address and browser information. Do not enter sensitive data into Guide.
Data recipients
We use external providers for hosting, sign-in, email, file storage, maps and AI services only as needed to operate Snowhub. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the required legal safeguards are used.
How long data is kept
Account data is kept while the account is active. Guide conversations remain until you delete them. Published content remains until it is deleted and may remain as an anonymous entry after account deletion. Other data is kept only as long as needed for security, legal claims or legal obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, a copy, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or request data portability where applicable. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority.
Cookies and browser storage
Snowhub only uses cookies and browser storage needed for sign-in, security, language, interface preferences and Guide history. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
