Smith Summit MIPS

The Smith Summit MIPS is a lightweight snow helmet purpose-built for backcountry touring and ski mountaineering. Its hybrid shell construction pairs a durable exterior with an in-molded core, keeping weight down without compromising protection on alpine terrain. Triple certified to global alpine ski standards and international mountaineering requirements, it combines zonal KOROYD® coverage with the Mips® Brain Protection System to absorb energy from direct and rotational impacts.

On the mountain, the BOA® 360 Fit System provides micro-adjustable comfort and collapses into the shell for easy pack storage, while external bungee loops let you attach the helmet to the outside of a pack. Integrated headlamp strap routing keeps a light in place, and 33 fixed vents maintain consistent airflow to keep goggles and glasses fog-free. The AirEvac ventilation integrates with Smith goggles, and the included technical knit liner with Ionic+® antimicrobial finish adds all-day comfort.
