The Ortovox Peak S is a 42-litre mountaineering backpack shaped around the female anatomy. Its Swisswool 3D Back System pairs a close-fitting, full-contact back panel with metal struts to distribute loads evenly, while wide, padded hip and shoulder straps and a wool-fleece lining keep long alpine days comfortable and well-ventilated. The carrying system is tailored for women, making it a reliable partner for everything from hut-to-hut traverses to extended high-mountain tours.

Equipment management is thorough: the pack offers dedicated attachment for rope, ice axe, helmet, skis, snowboard and poles, plus a side crampon compartment with drainage holes and a separate security compartment for valuables. The outer fabric is made from recycled polyamide and polyester, giving the pack toughness and durability on rough terrain while reducing environmental impact.
