The Salomon Outside Grip is a Nordic backcountry touring ski built for exploring beyond the groomed tracks. Its wood core is reinforced with recycled ABS and a fiberglass wrap to keep weight low while maintaining a stable, predictable ride. The Outside Rocker profile promotes natural terrain adaptation, improving planing, floatability and footroll in fresh snow, making off-track skiing feel smooth and controlled.

Full steel edges give the ski extra bite and stability when traversing firm or variable snow, while the Posigrip base uses an embossed fish-scale pattern to provide dependable grip on the climb and a confident glide on the descent. The Outside sidecut keeps handling playful and progressive, and the flat mounting system offers flexibility for choosing a compatible binding setup.
